The compound has a melting point of 154-158°C, boiling point of 204.5°C at 760 mmHg, and density of 1.367 g/cm³. Its stability under high temperature (up to 100°C) and alkaline conditions (pH 9-12) makes it particularly suitable for latex paints, polymer emulsions, adhesives, and metalworking fluids.
