4,4'-Methylenebis(3-chloro-2,6-diethylaniline) (M-CDEA) is a high-performance aromatic diamine widely used as a curing agent and chain extender in polyurethane systems. This compound features a melting point of 87-90°C and exhibits excellent compatibility with TDI prepolymers. It imparts superior dynamic mechanical properties, thermal stability (Tg up to 230°C), and hydrolysis resistance to polyurethane products. Applications include cast elastomers, RIM systems, coatings, adhesives, and microcellular elastomers. The material is classified as low-toxicity and approved for food-contact applications in the EU. Storage should be in airtight containers below 30°C, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
