4,4'-Diamino diphenyl disulfide is an aromatic diamino-disulfide in which amino groups are located para to the –S–S– bridge on both benzene rings. The compound is essentially odourless, stable under ambient conditions, freely soluble in hot ethanol, ethyl acetate and dichloromethane, and practically insoluble in water.
